Broadcasting Authorities Of Black Sea Countries To Gather At Istanbul Forum

ANKARA - Broadcasting regulatory authorities of member countries of a regional economic cooperation body in the Black Sea region were set to convene in June at a forum in Istanbul, Turkey`s broadcasting authority said Wednesday.

 

Turkish Supreme Board of Radio and Television (RTUK) said in a statement that the Council of Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BCES) had accepted Turkey`s proposal to establish a joint platform among broadcasting authorities of the 12 member states.

 

The forum would be the third regional platform where Turkey participates after the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA) and the Mediterranean Platform of Regulatory Authorities.
